History
Quinta del Encanto was the inspiration of Architect Bob Dickens and Interior Designer Paul Schatz, both of San Diego, California. The concept of the project was to build The Villa as a guest house and or owner’s residence and Quinta del Encanto as a boutique hotel and or larger personal residence or family compound.
The Villa has 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and 2 complete kitchens. There are various terraces and balconies including a roof top terrace overlooking the Riviera Nayarit Marina, Banderas Bay and Puerto Vallarta. The Villa has three separate entrances creating Casa Alegre, a 2 bedroom residence, Casita Amanecer, a 1 bedroom residence and Casita Chiquita, a 1 bedroom studio that adds an additional bedroom to either prior residence.
Quinta del Encanto was created to be a 6 bedroom residence of connecting pavilions in an outdoor environment with a large pool. Each residence has a mini-bar kitchen for light cooking and private entrances, terraces or balconies. Blueprints were completed for this complex and then a second study was done to add a two bedroom villa, a one bedroom villa as well as a guest services office. A caretaker apartment is nested into the entrance of the facility.
Contingent to the complex are two parcels that give the project potential road access at the bottom of the property. There is enough open land for an increase of units or the development of parking, storage and/or a tennis court facility. The property contains mature plants as well as many hard-scape elements more associated with Mexican Pacific coastal architectural design.
